Splat enters the market with the established reputation of its founder with more than twenty plus years producing for broadcasters and distributors worldwide.
Founder
Suzanne Colwell, Producer
A native of Perth, Western Australia, Suzanne moved to Ireland in the early 1990s and became a prominent freelance producer in Irish film and independent television.
About Suzanne Read more
Her credits span critically acclaimed features and high-profile international documentary features and series. Recently she was line producer on Róise & Frank (2022), an Irish-language feature drama that achieved wide international festival success.
As producer she has delivered large-scale international factual television, including From That Small Island – The Story of the Irish (2024), narrated by Colin Farrell, Aerial Greece (2021) and the historical series Queens of Ancient Egypt (2023). Her work in biographical and political history includes Daniel O’Connell: The Emancipator (2025), narrated by Domhnall Gleeson, exploring the global impact of Ireland’s non-violent civil rights leader.
Her first-hand experience of international filming protocols, multi-jurisdictional tax incentives and co-production treaties forms the operational backbone of Splat.
